St. Nathy’s College, Co. Roscommon created an all weather metalwork sculpture named ‘Cur Óg’ for their Creative Engagement Project 2022. The students from TY and EAL were given the task of creating designs in keeping with the agreed theme of the biodiversity green flag. The students learned different techniques a blacksmith would use to shape metal and became familiar with the traditional tools used.
