St. Michael’s Holy Faith Secondary School in Finglas have finished their beautiful Creative Engagement Project 2017

Progress so far on St. Michaels Holy Faith Secondary School, Finglas 2017 Creative Engagment Project art garden known as the “SM’Art Garden” is moving along really well. They have also secured the Axis gallery in Ballymun for exhibition of the work in June.

Pat Raferty is the ceramic artist engaging with the school. While Paula Meehan the poet very kindly took time out of her very busy schedule to do a poetry workshop with all the Tys and it is great to get such a strong cross curricular link with visual and written creativity.

Paula Meehan Irelands poet Laureate visited on Feb 8th to do a poetry workshop with Tys to give them a greater understanding of the poems we are using in the SM’Art Garden and an insight into the evolution of a poet.
