Acrylic pouring workshop and mural
For this creative engagement project we want to do something very inclusive so that all the transition year students would be able to create a piece of work for a group mural. we designated a classroom space that the mural would for into and chose acrylic pouring as the chosen medium to make the art work. We had 54 canvas to decorate and we hoped that most the year group would take part. We worked with artist Karolina De Duca and her assistant Serena, in two workshops on our half day Wednesdays and completed the individual work and had time to decorate the mounting board and prep one so its ready to be installed soon. We are really happy with the finished results.
