TY students participated in a full day stained glass workshop with the artist Bianca Divito. They learned about key techniques and how to safely use specialist tools. Each student designedand created an individual stained glass piece, developing their creativity, confidence and practical skills. They also collaborated to design and create a piece that celebrates everything creative within the school community. Students were also delighted to welcome visiting teachers from a school in Germany, who observed and engaged with the process. As a highlight, our TY students welcomed the Minister for Education to the school the following day. She was presented with a gift that was inpired by the school from the workshop. Upon her visit they showcased their work from the stained glass workshop.
