Beara Community School has got their Creative Engagement Project under way.
The 2016 Creative Engagement project in Beara Community School has a number of elements to it including identifying inspirational people, using these people to make a mural and to make lithographs and putting up these pieces of art in the newly done up Prayer/Meditation/Spiritual room and in the main assembly area of school.
A list of over 30 possible inspirational people were chosen and students throughout the school surveyed. A final 10 people were identified. With these 10 people selected the student group are now working with artist in Residence Brian Ó’Sullivan to design the mural.
