Reflections of Self
5th Year art students took part in an engaging self-portrait Creative Engagement Project in collaboration with visiting artist Tracy Cronin, exploring identity through creativity and personal expression. Throughout the process, they experimented with a variety of materials and techniques, developing skills in observation, drawing, and composition. The project encouraged students to reflect on who they are and how they wish to represent themselves, resulting in a diverse range of unique and meaningful artworks. Working alongside a professional artist gave students valuable insight into creative processes while building confidence in their own abilities. The finished pieces were proudly displayed in the school, celebrating student voice, creativity, and the power of collaboration within the school community.
