Mundy, pictured left, famous for his singing and songwriting, including Galway Girl, is lining up with St. Brendan’s Community School, Birr, for their Creative Engagement NAPD exhibition in Collins Barracks October 5.. The students from St. Brendan’s are wearing masks, produced working with designer Sorcha O Raghallaigh, as part of Creative Engagement. These photographs were part of a photoshoot for the media ahead of the exhibition.
Both Mundy and Sorcha are past pupils of St. Brendan’s.
Mundy’s recent appearance in the RTE programme THE HIT, has given added interest to the exhibition in Collins Barracks Dublin October 5.
The exhibition is free and parking is free. The exhibition begins at 11 o clock and finishes at 5pm. The Minister of Arts Heritage and the Gaeltacht , Jimmy Deenihan TD, will open the exhibition at 2pm.
