The students marked the centenary of James Joyce’s Dubliners with the assistance of Joycean expert James Quinn and graphic artist Jonathan Casey. Students studied Joyce’s short stories and pared each one down to its essential imagery and symbolism and created two visual texts ( sketches and acrylic paintings) to depict the imagery and symbolism.
