The 2015 Creative Engagement Exhibition was opened in Collins Barracks Dublin by European Vice President Mairead Mc Guinness MEP.
Welcomed by Museum Director Raghnall O Floinn, NAPD President Mary Nihill and NAPD Arts and Culture Chairperson Mary Hanley the Vice President was delighted to view the projects and interact with students, teachers, artists and visitors. Following Raghnall O Floinn’s address Mary Hanley and Derek West, a founder member of Creative Engagement and editor of the Leader magazine, addressed the audience on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the founding of Creative Engagement. Vice President Mairead Mc Guinness MEP gave a witty, passionate speech in reply and thrilled students, teachers and artists with her engagement with them when visiting individual projects.
