Cork"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Building on the success of their previous Creative Engagement mural project, this year\u2019s initiative focused on strengthening connection, belonging, and wellbeing within the school\u2019s boarding community through the creation of two large-scale murals in the boys\u2019 and girls\u2019 boarding houses.<br>Working collaboratively with professional mural artist Garreth Joyce, a group of TY students comprising both boarding and day students participated in all stages of the creative process, including literary research, concept development, design planning, and mural implementation. The murals were inspired by the quotations \u201cHope is the thing with feathers\u201d by Emily Dickinson and \u201cHome should be an anchor, a port in a storm\u201d by Henry Ward Beecher.<br>The project fostered creativity, collaboration, student voice, and a strong sense of ownership while strengthening connections between the boarding houses and the wider school community.
