President John Kelly visits St. Jarlath’s College, Tuam have completed their Creative Engagement Project.
“We worked with the mosaic Artist Nathalie EI Baba with a 2nd year Art group. We looked at plans, discussed ideas and the processes involved in making mosaics. Nathalie is the most wonderful artist and so easy to work with.
The 2nd yrs have a courtyard area to chill, zone out and relax in. In the classroom we went with the idea of the theme The wonderful world of Nature, the simple beauty of Nature. We were struck by the simple beauty and shapes of butterflies and other shapes within Nature.
It was a fantastic experience for all involved and our artist Nathalie is coming back to grout the tiles in Feb.
I cannot recommend the experience of CE enough.”
