Presentation Secondary Mitchelstown have completed their Creative Engagement Mural Project 2023
This project was facilitated by the artist Gareth Joyce and completed by 10 TY students. The students brainstormed some initial ideas for the mural and came up with the concept of showcasing our school community though a jigsaw styled mural. Our visiting artist Gareth Joyce demonstrated some stencilling techniques which the girls quickly put to use. Part 2 of our project involved a photographic display of subjects and extra curricular activities on offer in our school. The mural and display were cleverly linked using similar background colours and a series of pipes connecting both pieces.
