Malahide Portmarnock Educate Together Secondary School have their Creative Engagement Project 2020 underway. Students are working with glass artist Michelle O’Donnell to create a sculptural or suspended glass piece (the form will evolve through collaboration with the artist and the student participants) which will reflect students sharing, experiencing and breaking of boundaries and will be installed on permanent display in the school. Workshops will allow students to develop glass cutting skills, experience firsthand in the artist’s studio in Co. Offaly the process of slumping and fusing.
